The trimmer features a rotary blade system that uses a circular blade action for efficient hair trimming. The groomer is small and easy to handle, so you can get close along the inside of your nose or ear wall for a neat trim. A safety cone guides hair into the blades, it and prevents the blade itself from coming in contact with your skin in order to protect it from cuts or injury.
The blades feature stainless steel construction for long-lasting sharpness, and has a curved, hypoallergenic design that leaves your hair trimmed to the proper length to allow for natural filtering.
Built-in Light For Precision and Accuracy
The ER421KC Trimmer has a built-in light that provides a bright, focused light that eliminates shadows to ensure that you don't miss any stray and hidden hairs.
Immersible in Water for Easy Cleaning
The ER421KC is fully immersible in water, making it easy to clean: simply rinse it under running water and you're all set to go. You can also bring the groomer into the shower with you if you choose.

- For Simple use, its perfectI bought this product just for a simple nose hair trim. It worked brilliantly, as I wasn't putting it through anything intense. Battery life so far has been great. Its water resistance which is a nice touch. The light on the device is rather pointless. If it could be disabled I'm sure it would help extend battery life.
If you're looking for a simple trim, something to make those small undesirable hairs go away, this is the product for you. Its cheap and it works well.

the actual item does it's job quite nicely. i would rate it a 4 on it's own. it feels good in the hand, cuts easily and quickly plus the light is actually useful. the nasty stench when one st opens the battery compartment is [i suppose] outgassing from something in the assembly. i went away after i left it open for a few hours. I've been using the Panasonic ER421KC for over 3 years now an I can say with confidence that this is an excellent device for doing the job it was designed for. That is to say it clips/trims nose and ear hairs efficiently and virtually painlessly.
